About the Club

The oldest and most prestigious tennis club in the Czech Republic is located in the very centre of Prague in the surroundings of the Štvanice Island.

There are 15 outdoor clay courts, 3 of which have artificial lighting, 2 hard courts and 2 courts in a hall. In winter, there are 12 indoor courts (8 hard courts and 4 clay courts).

The club was founded in 1893 and therefore has a very rich history. Comprehensive information about the founding of the club, famous players who played at Štvanice and its modern history can be found in the special I.ČLTK Revue published for the 120th and 130th anniversary of the club's foundation.

At present, the club has both competitive and amateur tennis. Membership in the club is offered to the general public. Annual fee includes benefits of the membership in I.ČLTK Prague.

In addition to the tennis courts, there is an outdoor swimming pool, a modern gym and a wellness centre with a sauna, whirlpool and massages. Members can then use the member discount for lessons in the halls or for renting other additional sports facilities.

The club restaurant with outdoor terrace will welcome all visitors not only after sporting activities, but also during club or private events and your business meetings. 

The club organises a number of sporting and social events for its members through the year. The possibility of frequent meetings with important personalities from the political and cultural world is especially welcome in business circles. Many of the club's business partners take the opportunity to entrust the club's experienced staff with the organisation of corporate tournaments, which is offered including restaurant facilities.
